To The Editor:
Our chance to have our Massachusetts State Income Taxes reduced by 20% was recently thwarted by our States Supreme Judicial Court over ambiguous wording on short term and long term capital gains.
Chris Van Buskirk of the Globe issued a story about back and forth emails between Grace Gohlike from the AG office and Kevin Martin of Goodwin Proctor. These two individuals who supposedly passed the professional responsibility aspect of the Mass bar exam failed miserably. Our Atty General Campbell (who has yet to turn on our Right to Repair law duly voted by all of us years ago) is guilty of grievous inaction.
All she had to do was contact Department of Revenue Tax Management before filing it for the accurate blessing. So again professional responsibility fails us all. Because of the lack common sense I’m of the mindset that this was all done on purpose to keep the status quo on taxation. Vote Red in the next State election. Vote Red and we will get the much deserved. State Audit.
