Dean College Announces Women in Business Conference in March

What better time than March, Women's History Month, for an event focused on women in Business.

The Free event is being held on Friday, March 22 from  9am - 12pm at the Paula M. Rooney Center, 109 West Central Street.

Join us for the Dean College Women in Business Conference—an empowering, student-organized event designed to inspire and support Dean College alumni and students aspiring to excel in the dynamic landscape of business. The theme of this conference is "Find your voice, define your journey." Throughout the morning, esteemed speakers representing diverse fields such as finance, sports and marketing will share invaluable insights and guidance, empowering young women to thrive in their respective industries. We will also celebrate the remarkable achievements of young alumni, students, and local business owners whose contributions have significantly impacted their communities. Please join us for this enriching experience, igniting inspiration and fostering growth for the next generation of female leaders. This event is FREE and open to all Dean College alumni, students, and community members. Pre-registration is required. Please register by Friday, March 8th.

Event registration begins at 8:30am ET on the morning of the event. Please check in at the Dr. Paula M. Rooney Student Center before 9am. The parking lot is located at 109 West Central St. in Franklin, MA. Upon arrival a campus safety officer will direct you to the back lot. The event itself will take place in the Guidrey Center inside the Dr. Paula M. Rooney Student Center.

Coffee, pastries, and muffins will be available throughout the event.

Attire: DRESS FOR SUCCESS! Business Casual or Business Professional is preferred.

8:30am-9am: Registration and Networking

9am-9:50am: Dominica Ribeiro, Chief Marketing and Distribution Officer at Breckenridge Capital Advisors and Dean College Alum

10am-10:50am: Maggie Keohan, Managing Director & Regional Head of Goldman Sachs

11am-11:50am: Kathleen Ralls, PhD, Empowerment Leader and Author

CAREER FAIR: The Dean College Opportunities Fair will follow the conference from 12pm-2pm in the Atrium of the Paula M. Rooney Student Center. Students and alumni open to work and internship experiences are encouraged to stay and take advantage of this awesome opportunity after the conference.

ALUMNI LUNCHEON: Alumni are also welcome and encouraged to stay and enjoy a complimentary lunch in the Smith Dining Center after the conference.
