IFB/FOODSERVICE EQUIPMENT AND REFRIGERATION REPAIR CONTRACTOR LEGAL NOTICE Invitation for Bids TOWN OF FRANKLIN In accordance with MGL c.30B, it is the intention of the Town to retain the services of a Foodservice Equipment and Refrigeration Repair contractor to provide preventative maintenance and on-call repair to the Commercial Foodservice and Refrigeration Equipment at six Franklin Public School Buildings and the Town's Senior Center. This contract has a one year term from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, with two one-year town options to renew, subject to annual appropriation.. The successful bidder will have a minimum of three (3) years' experience servicing school food service commercial food equipment, including steamers, refrigeration equipment, and dishwashing equipment, and must provide at least three (3) satisfactory references (including names, District name, and telephone numbers). The Contractor must complete a CORI application form for each employee who will come onto school property during the life of the contract. The Franklin Public Schools reserves the right to prohibit anyone who is determined to have a criminal record from entering school property and, in doing so, to disallow them from providing service under this contract. IFB/Removal and Hauling of Green Waste (compost) LEGAL NOTICE Invitation for Bids (IFB) TOWN OF FRANKLIN In accordance with MGL c. 30B, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a contractor to provide the removal and hauling of green waste (compost) from the Town's Recycling Center, located at 455 Beaver Street, Franklin, MA Project: The work to be performed will include the removal of approximately 10,000 yards of green waste from the Beaver Street Recycling Center. The Town will provide a front end loader to load the material into the Contractor's truck. The Contractor shall supply suitable trucks for hauling green waste in accordance with Local, State and Federal Laws. The green waste is to be processed into useable soil. In accordance with Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Law, prevailing wage rates are to be paid for this work. FRANKLIN, OFF OF PROSPECT STREET LEGAL NOTICE Town of Franklin Conservation Commission Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Ch. 131, s.40 (Wetlands Protection Act), the Franklin Conservation Commission will hold a Hybrid Public Hearing on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 7:08 PM for a Notice of Intent filed by Paul McManus of EcoTec, Inc., Worcester, MA, on behalf of Louis Petrozzi of Wall Street Development Corp., Westwood, MA. The project proposes the construction of an access drive to a proposed subdivision in Bellingham with associated grading and utilities. Approximately 9,975 square feet (sf) of work in Franklin is proposed within the 100-foot Buffer Zone to Bordering Vegetated Wetlands (BVW), of which part of the work is proposed within the 25- foot “No Disturbance” Zone of BVW and the 25- to 50-foot Buffer Zone to BVW. The project proposes the dismantling of an existing solar array and the construction of a new Vocational Technical High School and athletic fields, with associated parking, stormwater, drainage, and grading. Approximately 4,906 square feet of work is proposed within Bordering Vegetated Wetlands (BVW) and/or Isolated Vegetated Wetlands (IVW), with 28,865 sf of work occurring within the 25-foot “No Disturbance” zone of BVW and/or IVW, 40,767 sf of work occurring within the 25- to 50-foot Buffer Zone to BVW and/or IVW, and 137,105 sf of work occurring within the 100-foot Buffer Zone of BVW and/or IVW.
