"NOs" Offer to Calculate Override Costs

Both One Franklin and VoteNOFranklin are encouraging supporters to attend the Wednesday, May 1 Town Council meeting, at 7:00 PM at the Franklin Municipal Building  to show support to either approve or disapprove the June Special Election to vote on a tax increase.

Voters can  still express their views directly to the Town Council via email through the Town Council website OR through the VoteNo website:

  • By Phone: Click the yellow button “Email Town Council” at the BOTTOM of the homepage.
  • By Computer: Click on the yellow “Email Town Council” button at the TOP of the homepage.

The VoteNo group is also offering an online tool to accurately estimate your potential costs [and, yes, there are plenty of posted disclaimers noting that the numbers are best estimates based on currently public information). The tax increase calculator is available on the VoteNO website. VoteNo explains that the calculator is hosted on a shared Google Sheet. If prompted,  request access to the document, and a member of the VoteNOfranklin team will grant you access `as soon as possible.'

"We have chosen this setup to ensure the highest level of precision for each individual homeowner, using the necessary formulas to provide detailed calculations," said the group.
