Listening a Little

The Comprehensive Facilities Planning Sub Committee (of the whole School Committee) held a ‘Listening Session’ Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the Franklin High School Library. In contrast to most School Committee events, this one was neither broadcast over cable TV nor was it accessible via Zoom.

The agenda was simple, get public Input on the Master Planning Recommendation, otherwise known as the redistricting plan announced last week. Observer will provide updates on this topic soon...

Detour Update for Interceptor Project

The dead-end section of Old West Central serving Ledgewood Condominiums and Franklin Crossing will continue to be closed at Tri-County Drive. Those residents should continue to follow the posted signs for directions on exiting and entering. According to the DPW, starting on Thursday May 9th, construction work will move onto Rt. 140 in front of the Dunkin Donuts. Expect lane closures and traffic delays due to active roadwork.
