Local Author to Launch Poetry Book at 'Love Your Shelf"

Sara Letourneau, a local author/poet, is planning a book launch party at Love Your Shelf, a bookstore located in the center of Bellingham on Saturday, September 14, starting at 2:00 p.m." The event is for my debut poetry collection, Wild Gardens, which came out earlier this week," noted Letourneau. 

Her poetry has won the 2023 Beals Prize for Poetry and the Blue Institute’s 2020
Words on Water Contest, and has appeared in numerous print and online journals and
anthologies. She is also a cofounder and cohost of the Pour Me a Poem open mic in Mansfield,
Massachusetts. 

Wild Gardens features 46 poems, "some of which you may recognize if you've read my work before, Sara writes, adding, "If you've enjoyed reading poetry by Mary Oliver, Ada Limón, and Aimee Nezhukumatathil, you'll probably like what you'll find in this book.
