Catch the Vibe: Free Popcorn, Cookies, Films, "Kiask", Books, and `Kazoo Koncert' at Franklin Historical Museum

While Harvest Fest is now built largely long Main Street, West Central Street has its ofn “Free Vibe” including Free fashions at the United Methodist Church (82 West Central) and a free cookout after the Harvest Festival, as well as multiple Free activities at the Franklin Historical Museum (80 West Central).

• Free Admission to exhibits and vintage films of Franklin

• Free popcorn on the portico

• Free access to the public beta test of `Kiask”, a 24-inch touchscreen terminal programmed to tell stories by leveraging museum assets. Visitors can explore curated stories such as “Why Franklin?” – how the town got its name in a last-minute twist. They can also browse a gallery of photographs of the Franklin railroad station and electric trolleys, which traces the history of public transportation in the town.

• Little Free History Library making its debut next to the museum steps – grab a book or leave one!

• At 3:30 Music Director Dennis Ferguson will lead kazoo players (bring your own, or use one supplied by the museum) in a fun and funny bit of ensemble play. The event and the kazoos are free, AND

• Free cookies for Kazooers and attendees while supplies last.
