Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation’s Mélange 2025 Gala and Live Auction—"Under the Lights”—raised $740,000 this year. The November 1 benefit took place at Gillette Stadium and was attended by nearly 250 business and community leaders, sponsors, friends and supporters of the hospital. The Mélange Gala and Live Auction is the signature fundraiser for the Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation, providing crucial funds needed to support the most immediate needs of the hospital.
This year, the Gala honored Milford Regional Medical Center’s new chapter as part of the UMass Memorial Health system. “Our Mélange Gala celebrated the strength and dedication of our hospital’s remarkable caregivers and staff,” said UMass Memorial Health – Milford Regional President Edward J. Kelly. “It was fitting that Mélange took place at Gillette Stadium as a way to recognize that Milford Regional and UMass Memorial are part of one team working together to advance the care we provide to our community.”
A live auction, hosted by Harry Santa-Olalla, ‘The Fundraising Guy,’ featured multiple high-ticket luxury items for bid including stays in Mykonos, Napa Valley, Mexico, England’s Cotswolds Cottage and Aruba. New England Patriots season tickets were also auctioned. During the most engaging “Fund-a-Need” portion of the auction, attendees made generous contributions ranging from $100 to as high as $25,000, raising a total of $157,000 to support new, upgraded mammography equipment for the hospital. Milford Regional performs 21,000 mammograms each year.
The upgraded equipment is designed to provide higher quality images, a more comfortable mammography experience for patients and improved workflow for caregivers. “The annual Mélange Gala and Live Auction is an unforgettable evening of great fun and entertainment with family, friends and colleagues, said Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation Senior Director of Philanthropy Elizabeth Fleming.
