FRANKLIN: Robert P. "Pie" Piekarski

Robert Paul Piekarski, Pie, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026 at his home. He is predeceased by his mom Dorothy, father James, brother James, sister Diane, and nephew Cory. He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie, granddaughters Yvette and Maria and her longtime partner David, brothers John(wife Lisa) and David(wife Judi). Nephews Trevor, Chris, Johnny and Ty. Several cousins and his beloved Aunt Marie.

Bobby was born in Boston and lived most of his life in Franklin. He was a lifelong HVAC worker with T&J Heating Air Conditioning in Bellingham. He is responsible for training and mentoring so many young people in the trade. His best friends brought him so much joy and he prided himself in having the same friends since childhood. His breakfast club Macky, Timmy, and Kurt brought him so much joy and laugh.

Bobby was a little guy with a lot of personality. He had a twinkle in his eye and his storytelling was something to behold. His laughter would be so loud it would cause others to laugh with him. A lover of music, he had a collection of thousands of CD's, by far Radiohead was his favorite. Bobby was kind of a nutty professor of sorts, sharing his knowledge to all who would listen but adding his flair to it all. He enjoyed and spent several summers down the Cape with his girls. He was a lifelong Red Sox fan and was beside himself when they finally won. He left this world as he lived it, on his own terms. He lived his life loudly and unapologetically and quiet and mischievous all the same. There was no secret he could ever keep, someone had to find out, and there was no favor he would not do.

The family asks in honor of him you always tip the "coffee girls' at the Dunkin Donuts in Franklin and just live your life unapologetically each day.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Saturday March 14th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St from 2-4PM.
