Yes You Khan...Find it Downtown...

Alamdar Khan, proprietor of the new Franklin Convenience Store on Main Street in Franklin (diagonally across from Dean Bank) has ended a lengthy patch for that part of town with no convenience store.

His clean and brightly lit store includes basic grocery items, drinks, frozen items, tobacco products, candy and  -- soon -- Mass. Lottery products.

With street parking in front of his Main Street location, parking is not likely to be a problem. But wait, there's more!   Khan noted that his store also has parking and a rear-entrance on West Central Street, just to the right of THE BLACK BOX --  a convenience for car-oriented folks or those avoiding Main Street.

Khan did not have an exact date for when Lottery products will be available but indicated that he had already filled out all the requisite forms.
