109 Project Hearing Rescheduled in Medway

The Heritage on Main - Major Site Plan Review, Mixed-Use Development Special Permit public hearing that scheduled for Tuesday, May 26th at 7:00 p.m. was abruptly cancelled.

According to one attendee, who showed up to express his opposition to the project, the meeting was in such a small room, that it rapidly overflowed into the hallway and into another room. With dozens unable to participate fully, the decision was made to reschedule to Tuesday, June 9 in the high school cafeteria. Lincoln Main Break Repaired in Franklin

Franklin Department of Public Works officials say a broken water main on Lincoln Street was responsible for a temporary water shutdown Wednesday.

The line has since been repaired and service restored. Residents experiencing discolored water are encouraged to visit FranklinMA.gov for instructions on how to properly flush their household water lines.

Friends of the Franklin Library to Hold Annual Meeting

Stop the Bleed in Franklin

The Franklin Health and Fire Department is hosting another FREE Stop the Bleed class for community members on June 17th from 4 PM - 5:30 PM at the Franklin Fire station. Individuals will learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding in order to help save a life.
