Ann (Rofino) Taschereau, a lifelong Franklin resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2026 surrounded by the love of family.

Born December 24, 1931 in Franklin, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Rofino and Grazia (Grillo) Rofino and beloved wife of the late Lionel "Leo" Taschereau, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.

Ann held multiple jobs throughout her life, including owning her own restaurant, "Ann's Kitchen" with her husband, located in Franklin. Her favorite role however, was as a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking not only for family and friends, but whenever she met someone new, she always tried to invite them over to cook for them. Being Italian, she was known for her great cooking skills including her famous meatballs. Everyone also looked forward to receiving her Pizzelles during the holidays. She was full of zest and made everyone around her laugh. Her charisma will be sorely missed by all.

Ann is survived by her granddaughter, Sarah Larsen and her son-in-law, Mark Bulen of Franklin.

She is predeceased by her daughter, JoAnn (Taschereau) Bulen.

Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Thursday, August 6th at 9am from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass at 10am in St. Mary's Parish, 1 Church Square Franklin, MA. To view the Mass stmarysfranklin.org

Internment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin.
