Franklin Festival Among Cancellations for Weekend

Franklin’s Harvest Festival set for Saturday, Sept. 26th, has been cancelled, due to the storm expected bothSaturday and the Sunday rain date.  And the event is not the only casualty of the clouds.  Other cancellations include: St. Mary St. Vincent de Paul Friends of the Poor Walk in Franklin, and the Medway Porchfest. The Franklin Historical Museum will be closed for the weekend.

The Harvest Festival Committee made the difficult decision to cancel both days. Both rain and high winds are predicted for the weekend. It’s disappointing to make the decision. The Franklin Downtown Partnership and festival committee work to ensure that all visitors and vendors have a safe and enjoyable experience at all of our events.
