Blackstone Valley NEMBA (New England Mountain Bike Association) is excited to announce the annual Best Dam Ride at West Hill Dam, a premier event in the mountain biking community, taking place Sunday, October 20th. This signature fundraiser helps support Blackstone Valley NEMBA’s trail stewardship, education, and advocacy programs, ensuring local trails remain accessible and sustainable for years to come.

The Best Dam Ride attracts riders of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned enthusiasts, offering a variety of routes that showcase the beauty of the West Hill Dam trail system. With a focus on inclusivity, the event will also feature rides and activities designed for adaptive users, further emphasizing Blackstone Valley NEMBA’s commitment to creating accessible outdoor spaces.

In addition to the rides, the event will host a variety of vendors, food trucks, live music, and family-friendly activities. State and local officials will be in attendance, including several representatives from the Massachusetts Legislature, highlighting the community-wide support for this event and the ongoing partnership between Blackstone Valley NEMBA and local institutions.

One of the highlights this year will be a special Pump Track Opening Ceremony at 11 AM, celebrating a collaborative project between Blackstone Valley NEMBA and the Army Corps of Engineers at West Hill Dam. This pump track offers an exciting new resource for both kids and riders of all ages to develop their biking skills.
