The Aug. 10 Centennial Celebration for the Milford Area Chamber of Commerce, scheduled for next Wednesday from 5-8 pm, has a limited supply of tickets available, but businesses wishing to donate to the online auction (or bid) can still do so, according to President Laura O’Callaghan.

“This is one of the biggest events we have ever held, and we have attendees from across the region, including many political leaders,” she said. The Chamber serves the towns of Bellingham, Franklin, Holliston, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Medway, Mendon, Milford,  Millis, and Upton.

Held at the Grand View in Mendon, the same place members celebrated their first anniversary back in 1923, an elaborate BBQ is planned, entertainment by Ricky Robidoux (who, in addition to his musical talents, created a successful fundraiser to help Franklin Teddy Gallagher’s pub through the pandemic!), silent auction, lots of fun games. Tthe 2022 Annual Business Awards will be presented, as well.

With the centennial harking back to the “Roaring Twenties,” though not required, attendees are encouraged to get creative with their attire, according to O’Callaghan
