Catherine Joyce Kozak

Catherine Joyce Kozak Of Uxbridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 1, 2022, in Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester at the age of 88.

Born on November 17, 1933, in Boston, daughter of the late Carlton J. Bell and Margaret (Laughlin) Bell. Catherine was raised in Boston and had resided in central Massachusetts for several years before settling in Uxbridge for the past 60 years.

Catherine graduated from Dorchester's Saint Gregory's High School; she worked at the Gloucester Company Incorporated on Cottage Street in Franklin, MA for over 40 years; serving in numerous capacities including Vice-President until her retirement.

Catherine spent much of her time with friends and family. She had a love for gardening, when she was not gardening, you could find her with a good book or knitting clothes for her loved ones. Until the pandemic, she would love to travel and was fortunate to visit Ireland several times for reunions with her family.

She is predeceased by her Beloved husband Philip Kozak; her dear siblings Paul Bell; Michael Bell; and Geraldine Kimball.

She is survived by her devoted and loving children: Kathleen M. Gura and her husband, Scott of Norfolk, and Stephen J. Kozak of Colorado; her cherished grandchildren, Alessandra Nager and Jared of California, Samantha Gura of California; her adoring great-grandchildren, Shoshana and Samuel Nager, Cassidy and Kelli Gura; her dear friend, Nancy Massi and her beloved dog, Jasper. In addition, Joyce is survived by her sister, Mary Frances Cazeault; brother-in-law, Raymond Kimball; sister-in-law, Connie Bell; many cousins, and extended family.

Family will gather privately to celebrate Catherine's life and remember the love and friendship she shared with others at a Funeral Service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
