Twas a Winter Wonderland!

Naughty or nice?  No one seemed to care but it seemed like everyone had a good time...

Weeks and, indeed, probably months in the making, the staff and volunteers of the Franklin Senior Center filled the building with conversation, desserts, snacks, beverages, and a demographic cross section of Franklin ranging from some of the town's youngest citizens and their parents to the oldest, not to mention too-numerous-to-mention town officials. And, of course, Santa.

One of the stars, perhaps THE star was a popular Elvis impersonator who brought style and enthusiasm to his selection of mostly oldies.

While other members of the department showed off the town's Tower Truck outside, for the young and young at heart, Fire Chief Charles Allen ventured inside for a time to check on the festivities and to chat with Senior Center Director Sarah Amaral (at right, wearing green).
