Teresa “Terri” M. (Balabanis) DiMaggio, 53, of Franklin, passed away peacefully November 19, after a long battle with Type 1 Diabetes. She was the wife of Stephen P. DiMaggio.
Born in Needham, February 3,1969, the daughter of Theodore and Pamela (Calitri) Balabanis, of Medway, Terri was raised in Medway and had lived in Franklin for the past 23 years.
She was a 1987 graduate of Medway High School.

Terri had worked in the Town of Medway Assessor’s office, for over 20 years.
Terri was a warm and compassionate friend to all who, who took joy in sharing in other’s people’s happiness. Despite her illness, she was always there for others.
Terri will always be remembered for her strength and courage, her beautiful smile, and her love of her family.

She enjoyed going to the Natick Dam, Rockport beach, and of course watching all Boston sports, especially the Boston Bruins.
She was happiest when she was with her family, especially picking tomatoes from her dad’s garden every Summer.
In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by her sister Tracy Landry of Berlin, and her Niece Chole Landry of Somerville.
She is also survived by her in-laws, Frank and Patricia DiMaggio of Natick and her fur babies Bear and Merri.
Her calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 22 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway from 4-7 p.m.
A service will be held on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will be private in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
