Old Colony Habitat for Humanity ReStore to Close as Lease ends, But Mission to Build Affordable Homes Remains Strong

After many years of serving our community, the Old Colony Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 9 Washington Street, Attleboro, will be closing its doors. We will continue accepting resalable donations through May 1, and our final day open to the public will be June 14, 2025. This difficult decision comes as our lease is ending, and the ReStore model has not been financially sustainable for our organization. While we will no longer have a ReStore as part of our program, we remain committed to building homes and strengthening communities. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated staff, customers, donors and volunteers who have supported the Restore over the years.

Thank you for your continued support—we look forward to focusing even more on building homes, communities, and hope!

[According to Habitat executive Kim Thomas, remaining items in the store will be made available to other Re Store sites in the region (such as Worcester).]
