Alecia Alleyne Heads for Private Sector

Alecia Alleyne, a fixture in town government for nearly four years, first as Executive Assistant, and more recently as Assistant to the Town Administrator, has decided to move to the private sector, and ends her tenure with the town this coming Wednesday.

In her most recent role, Alleyne has been visible in ensuring the smooth operation of Town Council meetings. She has often supported and sometimes substituted for Town Administrator Jamie Hellen in addition to handling many day-to-day tasks.

She earned her Bachelor of Science and  Master of Public Administration from University of Connecticut.  She held a previous post as Town Administrator’s Assistant in the small town of Andover, Connecticut.
