Reed to Handle Dean Bank's Commercial Construction Portfolio

Dean Bank recently announced the hiring of Austin Reed as its new Commercial Construction Portfolio Manager. Reed’s duties will include managing the existing commercial and residential construction portfolio, serve as the main point of contact for new borrowers and builders through the construction phase of their projects as well as continuing the relationship once construction has been completed. 

Additionally, Reed will work closely with local inspectors and serve as a liaison between the bank, the builders and the customers through all phases of each project.

Austin gained experience working in numerous local financial institutions such as Rockland Trust; most recently serving as a Commercial Credit Analyst at Walpole Cooperative Bank. A lifelong Franklin resident, he’s a graduate of both Mount St. Charles Academy and the University of Rhode Island, Austin brings a wealth of local community banking knowledge to his new role.
