It all started, according to Wikipedia, with the publication of The Lightning Thief, a 2005 American fantasy-adventure novel loosely based on Greek mythology. It marked the first young adult novel written by Rick Riordan in what became the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series.  The novel, which is centered on a  dyslexic twelve-year-old with ADHD, won several awards,  and was followed by The Sea of Monsters and two sequel series as well as a film adaptation of the book, titled Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, released in  2010.

And now, on stage at the Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School (BFCCPS), The Lightning Thief, The Percy Jackson Musical...with music and lyrics by Rob Rokicki.

The BFCCPS performance will be on Friday, March 3, at 7 pm, Saturday, March 4 at 2 pm, and Saturday March 4 at 7 pm.
