Public Hearing on Demolition of Historic Carriage House Feb.22

Image

The town has posted a brief legal notice for a public hearing to determine the fate of the carriage house originally associated with the Harry Taft Hayward Estate. Listed at 201 Main Street, it actually sits on the corner of Pleasant and Queen Streets and is owned by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston (locally, St. Mary's). The Parish has plans to redevelop the property (see prior article)
