The Town of Franklin Historical Commission will hold a Public Hearing, tonight, Wednesday, Mar. 8, 2023, continued from February 22, at 6:30PM regarding a demolition request application for the property at 201 Main Street, Franklin MA (Carriage House). The meeting will be held at the Franklin Historical Museum 80 West Central Street, Franklin.
Originally scheduled for Feb. 22, the petitioner was granted a continuance. The address of the structure, which was once part of the sprawling Hayward Estate, is 201 Main Street but it is physically located on the corner of Pleasant and Queen Streets. It was constructed around 1910. The image above was painted at an unknown date and hangs in the Franklin Historical Museum.
