FRANKLIN: Catherine Patricia Dubois
Catherine Patricia Dubois (Galvin)72, of The Villages, FL, surrounded by family & friends at her home, entered eternal life on January 16, 2025, after battling a long illness.Cathi was born on April 11, 1952, one of six children, to Alva and Patricia Galvin (Taffe). Cathi leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, generosity and kindness that will forever touch the hearts of all who knew her. She was a devout believer in God and now rests in the arms of Jesus, with the promise of eternal life.After graduating from Franklin High School in 1970, Cathi moved to Cape Cod, where she married, had one son, Kevin Dubois, and later became a paramedic. In 1982, Cathi's journey eventually led her to South Florida, where she partnered in several entrepreneurial ventures before moving to the Villages. Cathi was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Patricia Galvin, her beloved schnauzer Hannah and her niece Kimberly Morton.She is survived by her son and daughter in law Kevin and Erica Dubois, of Naples, FL., her beloved grandchildren, Joshua and Brooke, who loved their 'Nana' very much. Cathi is also survived by her longtime friend, sister in Christ and caregiver, Maryjames Uhing, (Cynthia), her three sisters, Diane Mahan (Robert), Donna Insani (Butch Perry) and Denise Rosales(Horacio), all of the Villages, Florida and her two brothers, Jim Galvin (Sheila), of Cape Cod and Bill Galvin (Karen) of Delray Beach, FL, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
