Franklin's Future Leaders had the pleasure of visiting the Franklin Fire Station at West Central St., on Thursday. Paramedic Doug Perro shared his time with the group discussing how the Station works and many different aspects of being a part of the department.

"The students came into the firehouse for a station tour and a Q and A session," Perro explained. "Lots of great questions were asked by the kids and the parents and the kids were very interested," he added.

Franklin's Future Leaders is a group of children ages 4-12+ recognizing the Importance of Community!

Formed some four years ago, children learn how we can help the community and how the community helps us. Through guest speakers and a variety of volunteer services, according to Group Leader Cheryl Hobbs, the children will have an upper hand in doing more community work as they get older. The season runs from October to the end of May. This is a FREE Group and sponsored by The Dance Studio. Both Leader and Co-Leader are current Wrentham Lions and are CORI. Future Franklin Leaders is a 501(c)3 organization.
