The Massachusetts Trial Court hereby gives notice of the availability of one or more Bail Commissioner appointments for the Wrentham District Court located in Norfolk County. A Bail Commissioner is appointed by the Massachusetts Trial Court to make release and bail determinations for persons arrested when courts are closed (overnights, weekends and holidays.) PLEASE NOTE: This is an appointment only. No salary or benefits are included but fees may be collected from the person in custody at the time of release. The base fee is $40.00. Bail Commissioners are required to have reliable transportation in order to travel to the court and the police departments located in Foxboro, Franklin, Medway, Millis, Norfolk, Plainville, Walpole, and Wrentham. RFP/ CROSS CONNECTION LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF FRANKLIN REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) CROSS CONNECTION SERVICES In accordance with Chapter 30B, Section (6) of the Massachusetts General Laws it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a Contractor who specialized in the management and operation of Cross Connection Control Programs for municipal water suppliers. The contractor is to be a Massachusetts Certified Cross Connection Contractor to conduct testing. The operation shall be in compliance with the rules and regulations as set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) M.G.L. 310 CMR 22.22 and the Town of Franklin's Rules and Regulations pertaining to Cross Connection Control. Project: The Town has approximately 705 backflow preventers throughout the Town. Approximately 385 are reduced pressure backflow (RFBP) devices with 358 of those devices requiring two (2) tests annually and 27 seasonal devices requiring only one (1) test annually. The remainng devices consist of approximately 320 double check valve assemblies (DCVA) and 16 Pressure Vacuum Breaker (PVB) devices that are tested once (1) annually. All commercial, industrial, and municipal facilities in the Town have had a cross connection survey performed. The survey requirement of the contract will be for any new construction or if it is deemed necessary to re-survey an existing facility. Cross connection surveys and the subsequent requirements to install any backflow prevention device must be in compliance with the rules and regulations as set forth by either DEP's 310 CMR 22.22 and/or the Town of Franklin Rules and Regulations pertaining to cross connection control. BID/ LEAK DETECTION LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF FRANKLIN REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) LEAK DETECTION SERVICES In accordance with Chapter 30B, Section (6) of the Massachusetts General Laws it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a Contractor to perform leak detection/pinpointing survey on approximately 170 miles of the water distribution system. Project: The work to be done under this contract consists of leak detection within the water distribution system which consists of approximately 20 miles of A.C. Pipe and 150 miles of Iron Pipe with approximately 2,000 fire hydrants and 9,800 services. TOWN OF FRANKLIN ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT 23-890 INCLUSIONARY ZONING A ZONING BY-LAW TO AMEND THE FRANKLIN TOWN CODE AT CHAPTER 185, SECTION 51 BE IT ENACTED BY THE FRANKLIN TOWN COUNCIL THAT: Chapter 185 of the Code of the Town of Franklin is hereby amended by adding a new Section at §185-51. Inclusionary Zoning, to read as follows: §185-51. Inclusionary Zoning A. Purpose and Intent. The purpose of this bylaw is to encourage the development of new multifamily housing that is affordable for rent or purchase to both low and moderate- income households. It is intended that the affordable housing units required by this bylaw consist of at least 10 percent Inclusionary Units as defined below in Section B. B. Definitions.
