5/21/2023

Fraud

Palomino Drive

On Sunday, 5/21/2023 at approximately 7:59 pm an Officer took a fraud report from a resident of Palomino Drive. Unemployment benefits were opened using the victim’s information. A report was generated.

5/22/2023

Suspicious Activity

Union Street

On Monday, 5/22/2023 at approximately 8:08 am an Officer took a report of suspicious activity from a resident of Union Street. The victim reported multiple attempts of people trying to tap into their wifi and cable services. They were referred to their cable provider.

Fraud

Regent Circle

On Monday, 5/22/2023 at approximately 1:02 pm an Officer took a fraud report from a resident of Regent Circle. Unemployment benefits were opened using the victim’s information. A report was generated.

Disturbance

345 East Central Street - McDonalds

On Monday, 5/22/2023 at approximately 8:14 pm an Officer responded to 345 East Central Street for a report of a past disturbance and harassing phone calls. A manager reported a group of people made a mess in the restaurant and were asked to leave. After leaving the business started receiving harassing phone calls. An investigation was opened.

Disturbance

Franklin Village Mall

On Tuesday, 5/23/2023 at approximately 4:50 pm Officers responded to the Franklin Village Mall for a report of a disturbance. It was reported a group of teenage boys on bicycles were causing a disturbance at multiple stores and being disruptive to customers.

Fraud

Partridge Street

On Wednesday, 5/24/2023 at approximately 3:09 pm an Officer took a fraud report from a resident of Partridge Street. Unemployment benefits were opened using the victim’s information. A report was generated.

Vandalism

Chestnut Street

On Thursday, 5/25/2023 at approximately 12:38 pm Officers responded to a residence on Chestnut Street for a report of vandalism. It was reported a blink camera doorbell system was ripped off the victim’s residence. An investigation was opened.

Motor Vehicle Hit & Run

King Street @ Summer Street

On Thursday, 5/25/2023 at approximately 3:23 pm Officers responded to King Street by Summer Street for a report that a tractor trailer took out a sign on a traffic median and left the area without stopping. An investigation was opened.

5/26/2023

Motor Vehicle Violation

King Street @ Union Street

On Friday, 5/26/2023 at approximately 5:16 am an Officer was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of King Street and Union Street when they stopped a car for a motor vehicle violation. After an investigation, a 29-year-old Franklin, MA resident received a criminal summons for:

-Operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license

Motor Vehicle Crash

Washington Street @ King Street

On Friday, 5/26/2023 at approximately 6:22 am Officers responded to Washington Street by King Street for a report of a two-car crash with possible injuries. A crash report was completed, and one party was transported to the hospital by the FFD.

Motor Vehicle Crash

Pleasant Street

On Friday, 5/26/2023 at approximately 5:34 pm Officers responded to Pleasant Street for a report of a two-car crash with possible injuries. A crash report was completed, and one party was transported to the hospital by the FFD. Both cars were towed.

Motor Vehicle Crash

660 West Central Street

On Saturday, 5/27/2023 at approximately 6:31 am Officers responded to West Central Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. There were no reported injuries, and one vehicle was towed. A crash report was completed.

Motor Vehicle Hit & Run

100 Corporate Drive – BJ’s

On Saturday, 5/27/2023 at approximately 6:50 pm Officers responded to BJ’s for a report of a motor vehicle hit and run that occurred in the parking lot. One vehicle struck another while the victim was shopping and took off. An investigation was opened.
