Street Hockey Season Begins at Fletcher Field

The Franklin Recreation Department will be kicking off its annual Summer Street Hockey Program on Monday, June 5th at the Fletcher Field Street Hockey Rink starting at 5 pm. They have a record number 113 kids in this year's program. Opening night will be sponsored by Boars Head as they will be in attendance handing out hotdogs.

Rec will provide all needed equipment including sticks, balls, goalie gear, nets, and a protective mouth piece. Games and practices are played on foot, not skates or roller blades. Players should wear comfortable clothing and sneakers and bring a labeled water bottle to each session.
