Eileen A. (Buffone) “Buffy” Tulli, 97 years old, of Milford (MA), died peacefully on August 23, 2023, at Countryside Health Care of Milford. She was the beloved wife of the late John C. Tulli whom passed away in December 2016. They were married for 67 years.

Born on March 20, 1926 in Franklin (MA), a daughter of the late Salvatore F. Buffone, Sr. and Julia (Petti) Buffone, she was a longtime resident of Franklin.

She graduated from Franklin High School in 1943, and was a graduate of the former Hill Business College in Woonsocket, R.I.

For many years, she was employed as a private secretary for the former Thomson National Press Company of Franklin, Attorney Natalina Introini (Franklin), various schools of the Franklin Public School District, and Bird Machine Company in Walpole, MA. After her retirement, she worked part-time in the bakery department at Super Stop and Shop.

Eileen was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Women’s Club for many years and a lifetime communicant of St. Mary’s Church. She was also a member of Friends of Franklin Elders, Senior Citizens, and the Brick School Association. She attended the Brick School when teachers taught first and second grades together. She was a den mother for the Cub Scouts, and was a Brownie/Girl Scout Leader. In addition, she volunteered for the annual July 4th Celebration and St. Rocco’s Festival. She was also a member of the Sociables Luncheon/Dance at Lake Pearl Luciano’s, and was an avid Boston sports fan.

Eileen enjoyed all intramural sports at FHS. She enjoyed tennis, ice skating, dancing to Big Band Music, stenciling, tray painting, gardening, and watching comedy shows on television. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Her wit and laughter along with her glorious smile will be sadly missed. Her Italian cooking was extraordinary.

She is survived by her devoted daughter Patricia A. Muratori and her husband Donald of Medway, two sons Stephen M. Tulli and his wife Silvani of Leominster, John F. Tulli of Fort Lauderdale, FL., and beloved grandson Anthony M. Muratori of Medway. She also has many nieces and nephews along with many friends young and old.

She was the sister of the late Mary (Tolo) Genoa, Josephine (Tolo) Pasquantonio, Anne (Tolo) Maguire, Elynor (Buffone) Crothers, and brothers Salvatore F. Buffone, Jr. and Robert J. Buffone, Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Tuesday, August 29th at 9 AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage Street, Franklin, MA, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, One Church Square, Franklin at 10AM.

Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.

Calling hours are Monday, August 28th from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
