Susan’s Way Pumping Station

Friday, the Town posted a notice explaining that power is out at the booster station (pictured above) located on Susan's Way and, as a result, the generator will be running throughout the weekend. Contacted Saturday morning, DPW director Robert Cantoreggi explained the issue is with the underground service. There is a ground fault and parts have been ordered. He said the department is hopeful it will be fixed Monday or Tuesday.

Rummage Sale

The Franklin Federated Church annual rummage sale will be held on Saturday, September 30th from 9 am to 1 pm (just before the Harvest Festival). It has previously been held in October.

Franklin Democrats

The town's Democrats have a packed calendar coming up. On September 20, a reception is planned in the friendly territory of La Cantina for "Chairman Jeff" (aka State Rep. Jeff Roy). and on the nearer horizon, a "Town Hall" in Needham with Senator Warren on Wednesday, August 30.
