Tuesday's municipal elections came to a fairly predictable end, with the phalanx of incumbent Town Councilors fending off the only new candidate, Charles Bailey III, and a full slate of unopposed candidates, some new and some incumbents, filling out the ranks of the School Committee.
The overwhelming majority of the 3100 voters that came out Tuesday also supported raising taxes to pay for the Tri-County Vocational School through a "debt exclusion" measure.
Write in candidates also emerged to fill the open Board of Health seat.
Town Council Candidate Bailey, said, "unfortunately, I didn't make the cut tonight. I'd like to thank everyone for your support during the campaign. I am blessed to have such great friends."
