James Thomas Nolan, age 84, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Brockton. He was the son of the late Arthur and Margaret (Dacey) Nolan.
James was born in Milford, MA, on Oct. 16, 1939 and was a graduate of Franklin High School in Franklin. He was a graduate of the United States Army Academy at West Point, NY, and Northeastern University in Boston. He proudly served his country as a captain in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
James was a retired real estate appraiser for O’Donnell Appraisal Associates. He was a member of the American Legion Post 93 in Foxborough and was a former coach for the Foxborough Midget Football program.
Beloved father of Kevin Nolan of Huntington Beach, CA, Christopher Nolan of Lakeworth, FL, and Kerry Nolan Jacksonville, FL; grandfather to James and Avery Nolan, Tyler, Sean and Sibrina Nolan, Ian and Zoe Ebwing. Loving brother of Theresa Yadisernia of Franklin, Mary Dellorco of Hanover, and the late Arthur and Joseph Nolan.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a graveside services with US Army honors on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, at 12:45 p.m., at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
