Irene Marie Fournier

Irene Marie (Dragani) Fournier, 91 formerly of Franklin died January 27, 2024
in the Alliance at Maples in Wrentham. She was the wife of the late Roy S. Fournier, Sr. who predeceased her in 2014.
Born in Boston, November 23,1932, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Favret) Dragani, Irene was raised in Roslindale and had lived in Franklin for over 50 years.
Irene had been a waitress for many years working at Rossi’s in Dedham and Speroni’s in Medway.
Irene was always the life of the party. She loved to go dancing with her late husband at Mosley’s on the Charles in Dedham, which is where they met many years ago.
She is survived by her children, Donna Cameron and her husband Joseph of Wrentham, Roy Fournier, Jr of Franklin, Marie Barraclough and her husband Stephen of Plymouth, Robert Fournier and his wife Laurie of Rockland, Brian Fournier and his wife Elayne of Franklin and Marc Fournier and his wife Noelle of Framingham.
She was the sister of Robert Dragani of Missouri and Diane Caruso and her husband Philip of Wells, Maine.
She was also the sister of the late Beatrice Kovacev and Dante Dragani.
She is also survived by her 13 Grandchildren, Jeremy Cameron and his wife Katie, Michael Cameron, Brian Cameron and is wife Cailin, Nicholas Barraclough and his wife Kristen, Lilly Barraclough, Jillian Blodget and her husband Joe, Bradley and Nicole Fournier, Joey and Jessica Fournier, Katie McLaughlin and her husband Justin, Evelyn and Ross MacMahon, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Irene's family brough her endless joy.
Irene will be celebrated at a funeral mass on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at. Mary’s Church in Franklin, MA at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131Main Street, Franklin, MA.
