Helen C. O'Hearn, 92, of Winter Haven, FL, went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2024. She was born on December 28, 1931, in Boston, MA, to John and Mary E. (Hanlon) Patrician. Helen moved to Winter Haven, FL, in 1988 from Franklin, MA. She worked for the Town of Franklin as an office manager for the Building Inspection Department retiring in 1987. Helen was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Franklin, MA, and a current member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City, FL.

Helen loved bowling, camping, playing bingo, and dancing, often performing shows for patients at nursing homes and rehab centers. She treasured the time spent with her family and friends, always finding joy in their company. It was said that she was a true animal lover, especially dogs and that her favorite saying was, "What a country," which reflected her cheerful spirit and positive outlook for life. Known for her easy-going nature, she was caring, loving, kind, and generous, always ready to help others and never known to complain.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas F. O'Hearn, Jr; her son, Brian O'Hearn; her daughter, Deborah O'Hearn; and 9 siblings. Helen is survived by her sons, Thomas, John, Kevin, and David O'Hearn; her daughter, Catherine Dobos; her grandchildren, John, Kristina, Sandra and Cassandra and her great-grandchildren, Kaden, Kaley, Marissa, Vannesa, Adysen and Joe.

A service will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Society.
