Michael J. Bethoney

Michael J. Bethoney of Franklin passed peacefully on July 30, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Jean-Marie Bethoney of 43 wonderful years. Son of the late Fred and Helen Bethoney. Devoted father of Angelina Rock and her husband Andrew of Hopedale. Cherished brother of Eileen Fuller and her late husband Joseph of West Roxbury, the late Fred Bethoney, and Donna Moses and her surviving husband James of Norfolk. Loving "Gido" of Evan Rock. Son in law of Carol Bethoney and the late Garry. Brother in Law of George Bethoney and his wife Christine, Fordie Bethoney, Maria Colella and her husband Eddie, Garry Bethoney and his wife Leslie and Carol-Ann Carchia. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held Friday evening from 4-8PM at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, Hyde Park. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday morning at 9:30 at Our Lady of the Cedars, 61 Rockwood Street, Jamaica Plain. Interment at Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers all donations can be made to Our Lady of the Cedars, 61 Rockwood Street, Jamaica Plain.
