Ernestine V. (Pasquale) Gilmore, 92, of Franklin died peacefully September 25 with her family beside her in her home. She was the wife of the late Howard A. Gilmore Jr. who preceded her in 2003.
Born in Boston, February 3, 1932, the daughter of the late Sabino and Josephine (Cataldo) Pasquale.
She grew up in Roslindale, graduated from Roslindale High School and lived in Franklin for the past 52 years where she cherished the company of many friends.
Ernestine was a homemaker and worked as a certified nurse’s aide in Franklin.
She is survived by her children, Joanne V. Rosato of Natick and Howard J. Gilmore of Franklin, her beloved sister Clara Rosati of Marshfield and many nieces and nephews. She found her most joy being with her beloved grandchildren Andrew and Rachel Rosato.
She was preceded by her late brothers Joseph, Anthony and Sam Pasquale, her brother-in-law Alderico Rosati, her nephew Joesph Pasquale Jr. and her son-in-law Nicholas P. Rosato.
Her life will be celebrated on Monday, September 30 in St. Mary’s Church, Franklin at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will immediately follow the mass at the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
