The Franklin United Methodist Church is hosting a free concert, open to the public at 7 pm on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Church is located at 82 West Central Street.

Parking is available in lot shared between the church and the Franklin Historical Museum.

The organ, recently restored has been part of the church almost since its construction in 1873. According to Rev. Jacob Juncker, in its earliest form, the organ's massive bellows were worked by local boys but later electrified.

Cathy grew up in Franklin and participated in a wide range of musical activities, including work as an organist. She has been a music educator for decades and a church organist in New York state.
