Arthur C. Blangeard, 79, of Medway, died peacefully on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Donna M. (Joyce) Blangeard for the past 54 years.
Born in Milford on July 23, 1945, he was the son of the late Julien and Dorothy (Sawyer) Blangeard.
Arthur was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1964.
Before his retirement, he worked as a vacuum pump mechanic at Raytheon Corporation for 44 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, James Blangeard and his wife Michelle of Hopkinton, Thomas Blangeard of Canton, and Steven Blangeard of Vero Beach, Florida, and one daughter Lisa Blangeard of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
He is also survived by six grandchildren and two sisters, Marjorie Doyle of Maynard and Carol Silva of Medway.
He was the brother of the late Dorothy Greene.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 18 from 10 - 11 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway ginleyfuneralhomes.com followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
