Margaret Ann (Nelson) O’Neill-Perkins, 87, of Franklin passed away peacefully December 19 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Cener in Worcester following a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Francis X. O’Neill who died in 1982 and the late William K. Perkins who died in 2015.
Margaret was born in Boston, September 12, 1937, the daughter of the late John E. and Margaret I. (Murray) Nelson, Margaret was raised in West Roxbury and had lived in Franklin for the past 61 years.
Margaret had worked at the Wrentham Developmental Center for 35 years, retiring as the medical librarian in the Medical Records Department.
She enjoyed playing games on the computer, taking care of flowers and the yard in the Summer, shopping, family gatherings with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and Girls Weekends with walks on the beach.
Margaret is survived by her children, Kathleen A. Bartos and her husband John of Upton, Karen M. Sinclaire and her husband John of Foxboro, James E. O’Neill and his wife Julie of Lynnfield and Mark F. O’Neill of Plainville.
She is also survived by her stepchildren , Lisa Tarolli and her husband Gregory of Marysville, Washington and Dianne Pacheco and her husband Michael of Mansfield.
Margaret is survived by her brother Thomas E. Nelson of Walpole and was the sister of the late William R. Nelson, John J. Nelson and Richard J. Nelson.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Deborah Murphy, Sandra Bartos, Kristin Fellows, Kelli Sinclaire, Connor O’Neill, Camden O’Neill, Michelle Pacheco, Steven Pacheco and David Pacheco and her greatgrandchildren, Rylie and Finn Murphy.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 23 in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
