Former Medway EMT
Karen G. (Bell) Dronzek of Humarock passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 79. Daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Dorothy G. (Ladue) Bell, Karen was beloved wife of the late John E. Dronzek; loving mother of Jeannette Dronzek of Marshfield, the late Richard Dronzek and the late John K. Dronzek; and cherished grandmother of Noah, Jonah, Celia, and Jemma Wusteney.
Karen was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, godmother, and friend to many who dedicated her life to caring for her family, loved ones, and strangers. She was always there to create a project, cook a dinner or last-minute dessert, proofread a paper or just sit and chat with a cup of tea. In times of need she would cook a meal, drive someone to the doctor, or sit by their side and keep them company in good times and bad. As a devout Catholic and involved member of St. Christine's Parish, she gave her time as a CCD teacher, Eucharistic minister, and visitor of the sick. She worked as an EMT for the Town of Medway for over thirteen years and saved many lives. Her countless acts of kindness touched many as she truly made a difference. She was a talented artist, an avid reader and gardener. While her heart was always at home in Medway, she retired to Humarock beach with her husband where she became a beloved member of the community. In her later years she came to enjoy and cheer on the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christine Parish Church, 1295 Main Street in Marshfield, followed by interment in the Couch Cemetery, Union Street in Marshfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Marshfield Food Pantry, by mail to P.O. Box 1097, Marshfield, MA 02050 or online at: https://www.marshfieldfoodpantry.org/
