THE BLACK BOX, the region’s music, theater, and event venue, is presenting the Franklin-based Zajac Brothers Band on Saturday, November 30 at 8:00pm.
“The Band” and their surrounding cast of legends has played in the soundtrack of many hearts for almost 60 years now. In honor of the late Robbie Robertson, The Zajac Brothers Band began paying homage to the night that was The Last Waltz and has assembled a veritable powerhouse of musicians to recreate the songs from the famed occasion. Guests and horns will join The Zajac Brothers Band to help bring these songs to Franklin.
The band will play two 55 minute sets.
The Zajac Brothers Band features songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Tyler Zajac as the voice of the band — along with his brother Matthew Zajac on drums. Together they’ve collaborated on writing and recording their original music and assembling a versatile group of additional instrumentalists to achieve their modern vintage sound. Often paying tribute to their favorite acts of the past, the brothers enjoy extending the jams and putting their own twist on familiar classics.
The Zajac Brothers Band touring ensemble currently features Kyle Curran on lead guitar and Dan Bishop on bass, now performing songs from the group’s debut original album “Fleeting Memoirs”.
