Franklin’s Fourth Annual Scavenger Art Gift-Away Begins

Sunday, December 1st kicks off ¨Finding The Light¨; a Franklin scavenger hunt that leads community members to find a gifted piece of art created by Artist Amy Adams. 

Clues are released each Wednesday to be followed by the delivery of a wrapped gift at the location on Sunday morning. The art is created to include silver or gold accents representing the ¨light¨in the work. Adams shares that ¨Finding The Light¨ started as a way to acknowledge the impact loss can have on us, particularly around the holiday season. 

She hoped that the Gift Away would provide a helpful distraction and perhaps a reminder to seek positivity and remain in a place of gratitude. Clues for the Scavenger Art Gift Away can also be found on Adams’ Facebook page, Painting Venus, or the Franklin Cultural District’s weekly newsletter.

Week one:

I sit in a triangle ready to welcome everyone down

People drive past me, but I too can be the Main character in a Central place

I can be festive during the holiday season, often dressed in greenery and bows

I am flanked by short walk bridges, training little ones to be safe
