38° and Fog
Jean Johnson (née Eisnor) of Brookfield passed away peacefully at home on December 14, 2024, at age 92 after hospice care by her son, Steve. She outlived her loving husband of 63 years, Albert, and is survived by her sister, Cinda, and her three children, Steve, Dick, and Sadie.
Jean grew up in Norwood, MA, started a family in Dedham, then raised them in Franklin, MA before retiring to Brookfield and promising much smaller (right, Mum) gardens.
Known wherever she lived as a master gardener, skilled rugmaker, and Scrabble Demon, she was good at whatever she turned her hand to. Dollmaking, furniture refinishing, birding, puzzles, and travel were just some of her many interests.
Jean's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Jenny McKenzie at UMass Memorial Urology for her dedication to keeping Jean healthy and independent.
