FRANKLIN: Nancy Lee Murch

Nancy Lee (Anastasia ) Murch, 88, of Uxbridge formerly of Franklin died peacefully January 19th at St. Mary Health Care Center in Worcester. She was the wife of the late George H. Murch who died in 2016.

Born in Boston, February 24, 1936, the daughter of the late Vincent and Margaret (Rogers) Anastasia, Nancy was raised in the Boston area and had lived in Franklin for almost 60 years before moving. Nancy had been a clerk at the former Brooks Pharmacy in Franklin and Ames Department Store. She loved to read and was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins.

She is survived by her children, Margaret (Peggy) Holland of Medfield, Laura Thomas and her husband Jeff of New Jersey, Lisa Bassignani of Uxbridge and Bobbie Jo Murch of Bellingham

She was the mother of the late Nancy Guerard and the mother-in- law of Alan Guerard and also the mother-in-law to the late David Bassignani and Walter (Dan) Holland.

She was the sister of the late Robert Anastasia.

Nancy is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicole, Sophie, Stacey, Gianna, Brianna and Karen.

Her service will be private.
