  FRANKLIN: Robin P. La Rosa

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robin P. La Rosa, a high-spirited and beloved individual. Born and raised in Franklin, Robin passed away at UCLA West Hospital in Los Angeles, CA, on Thursday, February 13, following a long illness.

Robin was a 1970 graduate of Franklin High School and spent over fifty years living in the Ojai area with his former wife, Sandra LaRosa, and their two children, Brianne and Chelsea. His adventurous spirit and zest for life were evident to all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

Robin was a skilled machinist by trade, a testament to his detailed nature and enthusiasm for his craft. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he had a passion for fishing, working on old motorcycles, and repairing watches, all of which he pursued with enthusiasm and expertise.

Additionally, Robin was an excellent chef.

Robin is survived by his brother, Randy LaRosa of Franklin, former wife Sandra, daughters Brianne and Chelsea, along with his two grandchildren, Cambria and Olivia all of California. He is predeceased by his parents, Olive and Francis LaRosa, and his brother, Francis G. LaRosa.

A Service Celebrating Robin's life will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church located on Pleasant St. in Franklin on Sunday, March 9, at 2:00 PM. Family, friends, and all those whose lives Robin touched are invited to come together to honor his memory and celebrate a life well- lived and cherish the moments we shared with him. Robin’s free spirit, boundless energy, and love for his family will remain in our hearts forever

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in his memory be made to the AmeriCorps Cape Cod Annual Canal Clean Up.
