Monday was "go live" date for new Medway Website

St. Mary's Franklin "Back in Business" After Repairs

The Parish returned to its normal worship space over the weekend. An arsonist did a million dollars worth of damage to the church in October and repairs were only just completed. The return was covered on Boston 25.

Franklin Phase 8 - Sewer Lining Project Underway
Below is the anticipated schedule for the Sewer Lining work that National Watermain will be conducting:
• Wednesday (3/5) – Stanwood Drive (#8/11 to #20/31), Pine Street (#80/81 to #102/103)
• Thursday (3/6) – Pine Street (#102/103 to #152/151)
• Friday (3/7) – Pine Street (Mary Ann Dr to #80/81)
• Monday (3/10) – Mary Ann Drive (#9/10 to Pine St), Pine St (Mary Ann Dr to #9/28)
• Tuesday (3/11) – Pine Street (#9/28 to Pond St)
Please follow posted detour signs and use caution when driving in these areas. During this part of the lining residents that will be affected will be notified. If you experience any issues please call the DPW at 508-553-5500.
 This work will help to improve the structural integrity of our sewer system and reduce groundwater intrusion which reduces our bill from the Charles River Pollution Control District.

Clark Cutler & McDermott Will be Museum Focus on Sunday

Franklin Historical
Commission Chair, Alan Earls, will lead a presentation and discussion
about the 100+ year story of Clark Cutler, McDermott, the very
successful local maker of (mostly) non-woven textiles
at the Franklin Historical Museum. Originally founded in 1911 to
manufacture horse blankets, Clark Cutler became a pioneering supplier
of “grass” for the newly popular amusement, Miniature Golf,
developed patented vibration reduction material still used in
industrial processes today, and became a key supplier to the global
auto industry. If you or a family member worked at the company,
please bring your stories! Museum is open from1-4, program starts at
1:15. FREE. 80 West Central St.
