Replacement Project LEGAL NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID The
Town of Medway,
hereinafter called the Owner and Awarding Authority, invites sealed
bids from Contractors for the Medway High
School Culvert Replacement Project, located in the main access
driveway (High School Road) of the Medway High
School in Medway,
MA, in accordance with the contract documents. The project includes
removal and replacement of the existing degraded culvert and
wingwalls as well as restoration of the roadway corridor to existing
conditions for areas incidental to the proposed work. Sealed
bids for the General Contract shall be filed with the Awarding
Authority by April 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., local time, at the office
of the Director of Public Works, at Medway Middle
School, at 45 Holliston St., Door 9, Medway,
MA 02053, at this time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The clock in the office of the Town shall be considered official
time. No late bids shall be accepted. No faxed or emailed bids shall
be accepted. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class
of work as, Bridge - Culverts, for the project with an estimated
value of $2,054,175.75 will be required. Bid Forms and
Contract Documents will be available at the Medway DPW
office at 45B Holliston Street, Medway,
MA 02053 after 2:00 p.m. on March 19, 2025. Bidders must provide a
contact name and email address when picking up Contract Documents in
order to receive notification of addenda. The Awarding Authority will
not be responsible for notifying bidders that have not provided
contact information. Electronic copies of Contract Documents in PDF
format can be requested from Tetra Tech, Inc. by email to
steven.bouley@tetratech.com. Bidders must provide a contact name and
email address when requesting electronic copies of Contract
Documents. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the project site
on March 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. All those attending the Pre-Bid
Meeting are instructed to meet at the parking lot north of Hanlon
Field at the Medway High
School site located at 88 Summer Street, Medway,
MA for a brief meeting before the site walk. Interested bidders are
not permitted to access the site before the meeting. Each bid
shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond,
issued by a responsible surety company licensed to do business in
Massachusetts, or a certified check, or a treasurer's or cashier's
check issued by a responsible bank or trust company and made payable
to the Owner, in the amount of 5% of the bid price. A
performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the total amount of
the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in
the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, will be required for the faithful
performance of the contract, as well as a payment bond in an amount
equal to 100% of the total contract price. All bids for this
project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of
Massachusetts, including G.L. c.30, § 39M, as amended.
Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates as determined by the
Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development and the weekly
payroll record submittal requirements under the provisions of
Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 through 27D
inclusive.

proposals in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B,
Section 16 for the leasing of municipal real property for the
construction of a third-party owned Solar Photovoltaic Facility.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) package, with detailed
specifications, will be available beginning Thursday, March 13, 2025
