Marianne Bournazian (Lanagan) 1965-2025, Age 59, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 29th. A longtime resident of Shrewsbury, Marianne grew up in Franklin, Ma. She attended Franklin High School, Class of 1983, where she enjoyed being a member of the Franklin Rangerette Drill team.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 28 years, Barry Shenette Sr of Shrewsbury. Her children Derrick Bournazian and Desiree Bournazian, both of Shrewsbury and Barry Shenette Jr and Michael Shenette, both of Spencer. She also leaves behind her siblings Bobby, Robin, Tracy, Tammy, Kerry, and Alan. She loved her grandchildren dearly leaving behind Angel, Slavik, Anya, Nick, Aston, Jose, Vinny, Brady as well as many loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Robert & Priscilla Lanagan, Her Brother Mark Lanagan Sr, her nephew John Chapman and her mother-in-law Arline Shenette.
Marianne was best known for her lifelong devotion to helping and caring for others, working as a CNA in Cardiology at the Milford Whitinsville Regional Hospital, as a secretary at the Center for the Living and Working Organization and for her efforts with the Verizon Outreach Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She will be missed by all of her friends, family and loved ones.
Calling hours are Saturday April 5th from 10am to 1pm followed by a prayer service at 1pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. Burial will be held at a later date.
