Milford Police Take Down Large Area Drug Operation

On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Members of the Milford Police Detective Bureau, Milford Police Special Operations and Milford Police K-9 Unit executed a search warrant at 18 Shadowbrook Ln., Apartment 56 following an investigation into on-going drug use and distribution. Detectives became alerted to illicit activity after the Milford Police Patrol Division responded to multiple overdoses stemming from the residence.

At 4:44PM, MPD units knocked and announced their presence and intent to execute a search warrant. Ultimately, a department-issue battering ram was utilized to enter the condominium and execute the search warrant.

The search of the premises uncovered 62 grams of cocaine, 2.4 pounds of marijuana, 308 grams of THC concentrate, over 2000 mgs of THC edibles, a 1911 9mm pistol, a 9mm pistol brace AR pistol, a .308 lower-receiver, as well as several extended magazines and assorted ammunition. Additionally, Detectives located several indicators of distribution and manufacturing of narcotics inside the residence, including scales, bags, drug manufacturing paraphernalia and a large sum of money.

“This is a victory for Milford and all communities like us. By removing these illicit substances, deadly illegal firearms and those who stand to profit from them, we are protecting and saving the lives of citizens.” – Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino.
